Medicare
  As an employer, you are required to withhold an additional 0.9% on all Medicare taxable wages and compensation paid to an employee in excess of $200,000.  Thus, you must have the Medicare Employee Addl Tax payroll item set up and assigned to each and every employee for QuickBooks to calculate and track wages for reporting accurately.
