  Summary of Tax Table Updates
 
  • This tax table includes new Federal withholding tables, and new Nonresident Alien withholding tables.
  • This tax table includes a new wage limit for Social Security taxes.
  • This tax table includes new withholding tables for: California, Kentucky, Maine, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, and South Carolina.
  • An action is required for the following states: Maryland, New York, and Oregon.
  • This tax table includes a tax tracking type change and an action is required for: HSA Emp. (Pretax).
  • This tax table includes other changes for: Alabama, Alaska, California, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, Washington, and Wyoming.

  • For Enhanced Payroll for Accountants payroll subscribers, this Payroll Update includes federal forms that were updated: Forms 940 for Reporting Agents & Schedule A (Form 940 for Reporting Agents), Form 941 for Reporting Agents, and Forms 944 for Reporting Agents & 945A for Reporting Agents.
  • For Standard and Enhanced payroll subscribers, this Payroll Update includes federal forms that were updated: Forms 940 & Schedule A (Form 940), Forms 941 & 941X, Forms 943 & 943A, Forms 944 & 945A, Form W-2, and Form W-3.
  • Note:In November, the federal government determined that there are two (2) credit reduction states for 2016. California and the U.S. Virgin Islands each have a .018 (1.8%) credit reduction rate.
