Getting information about the status of specific forms
When you’re working on a federal or state return, if you open a form that isn’t the final version of the form:
▪ The Form Status bar, which appears below the Help toolbar, indicates when the final version of the form is expected to be available for download.
▪ The date that we anticipate the final version of the form will be available for download via the Internet
▪ The message “Current Status of All Forms,” which is a link to a Release Dates page on ProSeries.com.Tip: The Release Dates pages on ProSeries.com contain information about the current status of all the forms, including the dates that we anticipate the final version of non-final forms will become available for download.
If the final version of a form won’t be available (or wasn’t available) for download on the date that we previously anticipated, the Form Status bar will show the revised date that we anticipate the final version of the form will be available.
